Then I read on the web about bleach. I haven't tried it on complete clogs, but for slow draining situations it seems to work well.<br /><br />I let water from the hot water faucet run for awhile, then dump in a cup of bleach and leave it for about two hours, then flush with a lot of water from the hot water faucet.
